Based in Sydney, Qantas is Australia's national airline. We have a codeshare relationship with Qantas on selected flights within each other's domestic networks when travelling as part of a wider journey.
These codeshare flights are available now, for travel commencing 28 October 2018.

Earning Airpoints Dollars™ and Status Points
Domestic Australian flights with an NZ flight number
If you travel on a Qantas operated flight with a NZ flight number (e.g. NZ7000) domestically within Australia you will earn Airpoints Dollars based on the earning rates in the Partner flights section of the Airpoints Dollars earning rates look up table. Status Points are not able to be earned.
Qantas operated flights with a QF number are not eligible to earn Airpoints Dollars or Status Points.
Spending Airpoints Dollars
Airpoints Dollars can be used to purchase tickets on Qantas operated flights with an NZ flight number, directly from the Air New Zealand website.
Domestic Australia lounge access
Elite and Gold members may use the Qantas Club domestic lounges, with one guest, when travelling on a domestic Qantas flight with an NZ flight number. Simply show your boarding pass and your Elite or Gold membership card at the entrance.
Elite and Gold members are entitled to two children aged 4-17 in addition to their one guest as part of their allowance.
There are 24 Qantas Club domestic lounges within Australia. A full list of locations can be found on the partner lounge directory.
Other Elite, Gold and Koru benefits
Aside from domestic lounge access for Elite and Gold members, there are currently no other benefits available for members on Qantas operated flights.
