Air New Zealand offers daily non-stop flights between Auckland and Perth year round, and seasonally between Christchurch and Perth operated by our 787-9 Dreamliner. The seasonal service operates twice weekly between December and April.

A walk around Kings Park is a perfect introduction to Perth's natural beauty. From its elevated vantage point you'll enjoy spectacular views of the central city, colourful gardens featuring native wildflowers and the sparkling landmark that is the Swan River.

Northbridge is a place where the arts, culture, community and knowledge come together. Showcasing local, national and international art, fashion and history, it's also a multicultural melting pot blended together with a lively mix of bars and nightclubs.

In the city, you'll find the State Buildings - a wining, dining and retail precinct housed in 140-year old heritage buildings. The precinct is also home to COMO The Treasury; regarded one of the best new 'city hotels' in Australia. A short walk from here will lead you to a billion dollar waterfront development, Elizabeth Quay.

For a taste of bohemia check out Perth's colourful port city, Fremantle. The historic Italian migrant flavour is unmissable on 'Cappuccino strip,' Freo's main street. Closer to the harbour, you'll find a number of boutique breweries and excellent seafood restaurants with soothing harbour views. It also boasts a vibrant social scene with highly popular bars, pubs, nightclubs and an arts centre that doubles as a live music venue.

When you're ready for a quenching beverage or ice cream, accompanied by a spectacular ocean view, Cottesloe beach is a must. Kick up your heels at one of the 'hotel' pubs and settle in for a stunning Indian Ocean sunset.  

Scarborough is the city's very accessible and laidback surfer haven. You'll be treated to a quintessentially postcard perfect WA white sand beach, dotted with sunbathers, kite surfers and wave riders alike.

Outside the city, you'll find the Margaret River wine region, located a three hour drive south of Perth. Wine lovers must sample some of the award-winning Cabernet Sauvignon, Shiraz and Semillon available at the numerous winery cellar doors here. You'll also find this area is the perfect introduction to the rest of the coastline's numerous sheltered coves and long fine white sand beaches.
